Greetings and salutations! Welcome to the new website for Criminal Intent, the podcast that dissects crime one episode at a time.

I took this opportunity of the original website going down to restart it anew with much more freedom for me to customize it.

I am also taking this opportunity at the end of the year to restart the podcast and think about what direction I would like to take the episodes. I will be covering more cases that have occurred more recently. Cases that occurred in the past are ones I tend to gravitate towards because I can gather a good amount of sources to write my scripts, but I think it’s time that I look at more recent cases a bit more frequently on the podcast. I will also cover John and Jane Doe cases in hopes of helping bring attention to them. There are some other things in the works, but, for now, my main goal is to get back to a regular schedule starting with one episode a month. Because I am the person who puts everything all together including the graphics and this website, it takes hours and hours of research, writing, recording, and editing to get an episode published. I hope that one day I can have a small team of people to help me out so that we can increase how much content is released. That will be further down the road. For now, I am shooting for one episode a month or a two-parter each month that consists of quality research and production.

Another thing I want to mention is the addition of a blog. I wanted a place where I could add updates and write articles that could supplement the episodes being released if there was enough material for it. I remember wanting to do that when I produced the first episodes of The Black Dahlia back in early 2020. There was so much I was discovering about life in L.A. and the corruption going on in the city in the 1940s, but I simply didn’t have the capability at the time to do it. Now that I can do a blog, I’ll put that information here for those who want to read more.

There are so many ideas that I have in my mind for Criminal Intent, but I think I’ll leave things here for now. I hope you all have a Happy Holidays and a fantastic New Year. Until next time…
