Criminal Intent is a true crime podcast that attempts to go in depth into the details of cases and the people affected by the crime. The cases we cover tend to overlap with historical events or social changes, and we dive into those topics as well. With this approach, Criminal Intent seeks to create a deeper understanding of the cases discussed, and deliver a more well rounded narrative. Many of the cases covered typically will be ones 10 years and older, but on occasion newer cases will be discussed, especially if it touches current social issues.
Because of the amount of research done, Criminal Intent releases every first Thursday of the month. You can listen to episodes here, or find it on most major podcast streaming platforms. We are also uploading episodes on YouTube, just search for “Criminal Intent Podcast” starting March 4.

About the Host – De Andra Kenoly

Hello! I’m the host, writer, editor, research, and producer of Criminal Intent. I’ve been interested in what we call true crime since I was a young child watching Unsolved Mysteries, America’s Most Wanted, and many documentaries about organized crime. I also grew up hearing true crime stories about my family members when my folks grew up in the rural south. I’ve always had a strong interest in understanding why people do what they do, both good and bad. This evolved into me sharing what I learned about history and crime. After some suggestions from my friends, Criminal Intent was born in January 2020.
For me, the cases I cover are not simply for entertainment purposes, but more so for education. My main goal is for listeners to learn something new, or take away a nugget to think about when it comes to law, society, and human nature.
